Well, so it seems it's been a while since I've updated this. Life's been crazy and busy lately, with school and other obligations wrapping up. Not to mention all of the other things that call and stretch your attention in a million different directions. I suppose it's a bit late to be saying that Summer is finally here, but... it is! All the colors are back, and so is the sunshine and warm weather. Thank you God for this beautiful world!
If you're new to this site, this is just a little explanation. This site is what I would hope to be, a helpful and useful writing tool for those of you who either like to write or are vaguely interested in it. I've found some games and links to other helpful sites - be sure to check them out in Fun Stuff ! In the Photo Gallery there are a few pictures of me during a trip to Duluth. The Poetry page is where people can send me poems they've written, and I will post them. The Short Stories page is the same kind of thing. The page that says Favorite Quotes , is where people can send in their favorite quotes or find one that they like. I also have a link to an excellent quotes site in Links. To participate in the Forums you have to be a member. If you become a member, you will not be sent adds or spam through your email. Becoming a member will only enable you to participate in sending me any of your work, or responding to a discussion post. To become a member, go to the About Me page. Look around a bit, read some of the sent-in things, and enjoy! It's always interesting - and sometimes inspiring - to read what your other peers have come up with. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me - I'd love to answer any queries you might have!

Spring just seems to be right around that corner, but Minnesota seems to putting on the brakes every time spring gets close. No doubt it will be here soon - along with the green, the flowers, and the warm weather.

March. Here in Minnesota, winter remains faithful to its reputation. Frigid, icy, and beautifully crystaline, the sparkling blanket of snow is exactly as to be expected in a Northern winter - and frankly, it wouldn't be winter without it. Though the winter months seem long, there is really nothing to be done about it, so try to find the beauty and look forward to the warmer months soon to come!

It's almost hard to believe that Valentines Day is in one week! Second semester has started for many of you, and you're finally getting a grip on the new schedule. But those things always fall into line pretty quick. Now it's time to be thinking about the ones you love! Keep them in your thoughts, write them a note or two, or just make sure they know you love them!
1/19/09 Remember Doctor King - And the Inauguration Tomorrow
Hey there everyone! As we remember Martin Luther King Jr. and all he strove to do and accomplished, let us also remember the inauguration of Barack Obama. Whether you voted Democratic, or Republican, please keep him in your prayers. There are many things that could be so hurtful to the country that he is trying to pass... murdering babies is just an example... I'm not tryin to push my views on anything here, but I am telling it for what it is. Keep also this country and her future in your thoughts and prayers as well.

Well, only five more days of 2008! I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas, and got their fill of sweets! New Years day is next Wednesday... so close! That means resolutions for the new year... What are your new years resolutions? I think mine will be to cut down on junkfood in general, and start excercising more... while staying caught up with all my school work. Ha... Oh and I have so many books I want to read! But so little time - I think that pretty much goes for everyone though.

(And just on a side note here - if you become a member, you will not be obligated to do anything. You will not be sent junk or adds - I don't think... Anyways, all being a member will mean is that you will be able to participate in anything on the website; like the forums, and the discussions, contacting me, and other such things.) 
12/14/08 Merry Christmas Everyone!
Christmas is only two weeks away and the new year only about four. Wow, the years seem to slip by faster and faster don't they? Anyways, if you have any interesting Christmas, or New Years stories, send them in and I'll post them on the Short Stories page. In any of the short stories you send in, please make sure you've used correct grammar and spelling, as this IS a writing website. 
Also, be sure to check out the Forums each week as there will be a new, interesting topic to help ideas along.

Hey everyone! This is just a trial thing... If it's successful, I'll keep it. But if not... well, let's just say it'll simply 'exist'. Hopefully it can be as much a help to others as I mean it to be for me. I thought it would be kind of fun for all of you who like to write to be able to discuss and advise on all matters literature. I'll be adding to this page as time goes on... I hope. :)
If you guys know of any sites that are helpful - or you just like them - when writing, send me the link. I'll check them out, then add them if I agree with you!
But, to make this site successful, I need all you authors to put your opinions up. Send me emails, contact me, let me know what I could put on here to make this site more interesting! I'd also love to answer ANY of your questions!
